About Us
The Net Radio is a station with a difference as we only play original music from unsigned artists. When The Net Radio started in 2002 we played commercial music, much the same as everybody else in the world except with Internet Radio being so new, we were a very small voice. Now though with Internet Radio being the most important new medium on the planet The Net Radio is sounding very loud indeed! With traditional radio being restricted with how they broadcast, and that new licences for them are not being issued like they once were the format is becoming very stale. DAB become worthless in 2007 when a major broadcaster realised the format was not viable to broadcast on and the timetable for the UK’s satellite radio service is so far into the future it becomes redundant it makes Internet Radio the format of choice.
No longer is Internet Radio tied down to your computer, you can listen it on your phone, in your car, on your hi-fi at home and even off-line thanks to the latest radios which will record hours worth of your favourite Internet Radio station stored for when you have no access to the net!
The Net Radio made a commitment when we chose to play your music, and instead of just playing your tracks we are going to help you develop as well. The website has been designed to offer services that will help you with your music and with your career.

and 1 Gb (1000 Mb) of disk space with the ability to upload as many songs as
you like to you profile page which can be streamed, downloaded, or bought by
your listeners.

gallery with space for as many pictures as you like, a blog and a guestbook
with the ability to edit and remove posts.

played on the live stream with a link to your page from the

New Talent Co-ordinators
We have a team of New Talent Co-ordinators who travel the country looking for new talent.
They visit schools, colleges and universities to meet you and your bands to offer support and advice with the world of music.
They tend to hang around in bars and clubs checking you out! If they like what they hear, you will be approached then one of two things will happen.
1) They get you to buy them a drink, and then they will explain to you about The Net Radio. They might even write about you on their blogs!
2) They will buy you a drink, take some pictures of you, bring back a live recording of what they have just heard and arrange to meet with you again. They will be wanting to feature you on The Net Radio Introducing and establish a partnership with you.
The Radio Station
We broadcast live onto the website 24 hours a day. Programmes will be featuring different genres as we won’t be stuck playing one sort of music! It will be commercial free and will even be broadcasting live from your events! You can tune in via your mobile device or car wi-max.
